Wisdom Fong

Ms. Fong has always been passionate about conservation and protecting our planet's precious ecosystems. This lifelong dedication led her to Florida International University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. During her time at FIU, she gained valuable hands-on research experience through volunteer work at the Butler Lab for Tropical Ecology and the Harbone Lab for Tropical Fish Ecology, contributing to important research on tropical ecosystems and marine biodiversity.

Through speaking at youth-focused environmental summits, including the Algalita POPS program and the Youth Ocean Conservation Summit, Ms. Fong discovered her true calling in science communication and conservation education. Her goal as a teacher is to make complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging to students, fostering environmental champions. Ms. Fong is excited to share her love and passion for protecting the Earth with students, combining her scientific knowledge with her passion for making conservation education both meaningful and inspiring.

In her free time Ms. Fong likes to SCUBA dive, cook, read, and chase raptors on VelociCoaster at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
